Passing Students will Receive:

AFD Qualification Certificate & a Qualification Identification Card in accordance with IAW ASTM Certification

This course teaches students how to preform socket fusions to ASTM-F2620 standard practice for heat fusion, joining of polyethylene pipe fittings using industry leading equipment.
Prepares students to understand the theory of fusion and properly fuse small diameter pipes and fittings.

This course covers a general electrofusion processes that can adapted to all electrofusion processors and tools.
Covers small and large diameter fusion application in accordance with ASTM-F1290.

Learn about polyethylene pipe, joining procedures and industry leading fusion equipment ranging from sizes of 3/4″ CTS to 6″ DIPS.
Participants will get the opportunity to go hands-on with McElroy fusion equipment and procedures.
Our certified training instructor will help your crew become familiar with the ASTM-F2620 practice of butt fusion of polyethylene pipe and fittings.
Your team will be certified in the methods and procedures to fuse HDPE pipe you need to get the job done.
